Northrop Grumman is seeking Antenna Test Engineers. This position will start out in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and the position will then be located in Waynesboro, VA.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team.

Northrop Grumman is seeking Antenna Test Engineers. This position will start out in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and the position will then be located in Waynesboro, VA.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team.
What You'll Get to Do :
- Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
- Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
- Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
- Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
- Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems
- Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
- Analyze test data and identify early trends
- Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
- Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
- Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
- Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
- Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
- Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range
- RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
- Familiarity with RF and antenna theory
