MuleSoft is looking for a motivated Solutions Engineer to join our extremely talented and collaborative Pre-Sales team. As a Specialist Solution Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to MuleSoft’s prospective customers and account teams by proving how MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform can bring their digital investments to life, and allowing for faster change and innovation. You will partner closely with the sales account teams in three key areas including Solutioning, Product expertise and Innovation. What you’ll achieve over the first year in this role
- Become certified in MuleSoft’s Developer trainings as well as Product, Architecture, and Sales Messaging trainings
- Complete MuleSoft’s Immersion training
- Build your Mulesoft Advantage and white-boarding skills through shadowing and customer-scenario role playing
- Engage with AEs and Sales Teams. Shadow customer calls and engagements.
- Successfully deliver your Self Service asset by end of second quarter
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the client’s technical requirements and audience
- Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possible
- Support marketing with evangelism activities (writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, speaking at industry events, etc.)
- Hands on experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, Automation solutions, cloud infrastructure, etc.
- Hands on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, security protocols, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM etc. is preferred
- Hands on Development experience in a range of languages
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in alignment with the sales strategy
- Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs is preferred
- A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
- Solid verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
- Salesforce and/or MuleSoft Certifications highly desired
- Degree in IT/Business or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Ability to travel as needed
