Overview of the Role:
Do you enjoy a blend of strategy, programs, and operational execution? The Strategic Projects team within the Tableau Global Sales Strategy and Operations organization focuses on business-critical initiatives that support sales with direct ACV impact. The Strategic Projects team will engage, scope, and collaborate to deliver business outcomes while being trusted business partners who use our own technology to grow a world-class, data-driven Sales organization.
We’re looking for highly passionate candidates who love working with people, are comfortable with ambiguity, have attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities.
Impact:
- Work cross-functionally with organization leaders in the design and delivery of each program, managing stakeholders and resources, and fostering collaboration
- Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership
- Support the strategy and deliver diverse global strategic programs end to end. This includes definition, scope, planning, delivering, tracking, and reporting.
- Create executive-level, data-driven presentations for both local and global leadership
- Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of professional experience, ideally in sales strategy/business operations roles or program management
- Experience with quantitative analysis and financial modeling
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role
- Proficient in Salesforce, Slack, Quip and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights
- Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence across the organization
- Experience with Tableau

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $128,300 to $176,500. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $140,000 to $192,500.
