The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones. Schedule: Scheduled 1 month in advance working from Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 7 PM PST or the possibility of 7 AM – 5 PM on Saturday’s and Sunday’s Location: Float coverage is in Everett Spine, Hearing Aid, Gunderson WIC, and Gunderson Specialty, and Edmonds. Gunderson WIC & Specialty: 3927 Rucker Ave, Everett, WA, 98201 Spine: 1303 Pacific Ave, Everett, WA, 98201 Hearing Aid: 4027 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA, 98201 Edmonds: 21401 72nd Ave W, Edmonds, WA 98026 Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers into the practice and provide instruction and/or direction as necessary both on the phone and in person
- Schedule and coordinate all patient appointments as directed
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, free of clutter
- Prepare all documentation and records with accuracy as directed or necessary for the patient’s care
- Meet or exceed the performance measures established by the Practice Management Dept.
- Order and maintain the inventory, and stock in the area according to the policies and procedures established by the Practice Management Dept. and Central Supply
- Follow establish policy and procedures related to the position
- Participate and contribute in a team-based environment
- Maintain a team supportive attendance record
- Follow OSHA/WISHA (including usage of PPE) guidelines
- Follow HIPAA regulations
- Adapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing environment, and in occasional difficult situations
- Ability to be extremely flexible with the ability to float to different locations

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of medications and medical terminology
