The Global Incentive Compensation Systems Team is responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and administering systems used for compensating the Salesforce sales organization, as well as tools used by our internal teams to perform their job functions. As a QA Manager, you will lead a team of people who test code changes in sales compensation configuration within Xactly Incent and other applications, ETL processes, and internal compensation tools against business requirements. You will leverage your strong technical skills and functional expertise to guide the team in identifying and resolving bugs, prevent issues in Production, and maintain code quality as the Systems team expands its scope of automation. The QA team works closely with Developers to ensure that all functionality is working as designed and commissions are calculated accurately, and partners with cross-functional teams including Compensation Operations to support UAT. In addition, you will be responsible for participating in our Agile process representing your team in identifying requirements, documenting story points, discussing sprint planning and signing off on QA testing. You will be responsible for communicating the successes of your team to the greater Revenue Operations team by publishing weekly metrics and participating in reviews with management as and when required. Essential Functions:
- Manage a team that performs QA testing for code changes in Xactly Incent, Xactly Connect, and internal compensation tools
- Build and manage QA team, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members
- Provide best practices and guidance to team on defect management and test case reviews
- Identify, report, and track bugs through resolution
- Document testing to satisfy SOX requirements
- Coordinate all phases of testing including functional, regression, E2E and UAT testing
- Coordinate with developers and product owners to understand business requirements to develop knowledgebase
- Work cross-functionally with Compensation Operations team to support UAT and drive the UAT test strategy
- Create, support and socialize QA Metric
- Influence the ‘How’ while delivering the ‘What’ - promote behaviors that both focus on team work and goals while promoting a positive team culture
- Continuously improve testing strategies, design, document and communicate the same to the stakeholders
- Implement, drive and promote test automation to gain further efficiencies
- Review test cases and user stories and monitor team’s delivery in bi-weekly sprints
- Implement industry standards and cutting-edge testing techniques and test best practices
- Manage risks associated with open bugs and communicate the same to leadership, device strategies to reduce bugs
- Identify deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develop solutions to enable robust quality processes
- Adapt to changing requirements and remain flexible to attain moving targets

- Drives excellence and provide coaching to QA engineers to meet the quality standards
- Problem-solving skills and have the ability to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize feature deliverables
- Experience managing a team of QA engineers with minimum team size of 6 people.
- Strong testing skills. Ability to create test scripts, set up test data, execute test cases, and document results
- Experience using Xactly or other sales compensation systems required
- Experience working with IT development staff on complex projects within an Agile delivery methodology
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Test automation experience preferred
- Experience with employee development, coaching and performance management required
- Ability to build partnership and communicate and present to Senior Leadership
- 7+ years of management experience, managing team in a matrix environment, with 10+ years of relevant testing experience
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the skills you'll use every day for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
