This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama and will support the Sentinel program.What You'll Get to Do:• Administering systems based on Linux and Windows operating systems• Automating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management (CM) tooling• Work with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology• Implement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code that adheres to industry best practices• Automate cloud native technologies in air-gapped environments, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructure• Design and implement security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption.• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.• Provide technical guidance and training to other team members and stakeholdersPosition Benefits:As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

- Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer: 09 Years with Bachelor's in related field of study, 07 Years with Masters, 04 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizenship with Active DoD Top Secret clearance with reinvestigation in the last 6 years.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (i.e., Security+, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university.
- Experience engineering ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, McAfee / Trellix, VMWare, or MECM.
- Experience with network design, virtual environments, and cyber systems design is preferred.
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Tools such as: Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Packer, GitLab, etc.. deployments in air-gapped environments
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools such as Splunk, Elastic, CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack, or Swimlane.
- Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows domain architectures, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems, Red Hat Linux Operating.
- System experience and/or certification for current versions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming), Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe for Lean Enterprises.
