Job Description We recently established the Finance Velocity Office, designed to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function. This newly created function will shape our transformation strategy, improve our business operations and enhance the impact we make as a function. Why velocity? Velocity is about both speed and strategy, focused on accelerating in a given direction. We will hone our approach, think big and decide quickly, living our Leadership Principles. This newly dedicated team will help us drive global consistency and operate as one team to:
- Build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of our business and improves the day-to-day interactions of our Finance teams.
- Modernize our processes to enable better, faster decision making and drive more timely insights for our clients and business partners.
- Implement technology to evolve how we work together to achieve meaningful, sustainable change and enable our long-term growth agenda.
- Ensure a clear and measurable set of KPIs against our Finance OKRs and Scorecard to track, report and recognize key milestones and impact statements for our work product.
- Evaluate and design strategy and end state vision for integrated, modernized and scalable systems
- Elevate and Enable insight-based, forward-looking decision making
- Dedicated teams to develop new digital offerings for business decision support
- Identify advanced analytics/ AI tooling and use case
- Empower leadership with self-service BI to track key KPIs and steer business accordingly
- Clear standards govern ERP/BI and analytic tool landscape
- Business partners identify true value drivers via advanced analytics and AI/ML tools
- Support a team of SMEs, BI Analysts, Data Scientists, Power Users across Finance
- Influence without accountability for training on tools and processes with the intention of creating a community for Finance to leverage to support ad-hoc data analysis needs
- Drive and deliver business intelligence workstream as part of Transformation, define end-state COE systems, processes and tools for ongoing Reporting and Analytics
- BI champion across Transformation as COE on tools and capabilities, institute and scale training, best practice sharing and SME center of excellence
- Provide KPI reporting on status of key initiatives and deliverables
- Enable broader KPI reporting against key metrics leveraging data analyst team
- Develop and manage internal processes and best practices around data, reporting and analytics
- Influence and provide thought leadership of shared reporting HUB and capabilities
- Business acumen: Understanding of company and Finance strategy, how transformation ambitions link to the specific initiatives.
- Strong voice for issue resolution: Active role in driving cross-initiative and cross-functional intervention for resolution of challenges
- Experience in Data, Visualization and Analytics: expert level experience with data visualization tools, reporting center of excellence and analytics to shape, strategy and design of end state vision
- Strong communication: Proven strong communication with senior leadership to provide transparency and drive clear accountability for ownership of activities and milestones.
- Change championing: Engage and activate leaders and stakeholders towards change, driving positive sentiment and willingness towards transformation.
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Experience in FP&A, analytics, data visualization or related role of delivering data and insights around financial data to executive stakeholders
- MBA strongly preferred
- Management consulting strongly preferred
- Innovative and curious with expert level ability to learn new technologies and current in the understanding and application of modern technology including AI
- Ability to manage, develop, and mentor an impactful team

- Strong analytical and project management skills
