- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 14 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or quantitative analysis related fields.
- Experience building, developing, and leading a team.
- Experience in Programming and SQL.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and the technology industry.
- Experience leading operational initiatives across various functional domains and geographies.
- Knowledge of languages, tools and platforms (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, SQL, Tableau, Qlikview, Looker, Plx).
- Ability to design data pipelines and dimensional data modeling, for synch and asynch system integration, and implementation using internal (e.g., PLX, Flume) and external stacks (e.g., DataFlow, Spark).
The Measurement, Impact and Insights team within the Mastery Strategy and Operations team uses data and insights to help build a competency-based personalized user journey for Mastery’s audience. The team is responsible for setting up the data infrastructure, developing business intelligence solutions, conducting data experimentation, and partnering with the Mastery business to derive insights that support content, technology, and activation portfolios that showcases business impact. You will identify the needs and development areas of users, examining how the content portfolio serves these needs, analyze the impact of content, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to influence Mastery’s strategy. As the Head of Measurement, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning for the Mastery organization.
- Manage a team responsible for building and maintaining key pieces of the Analytics data solutions and delivering solutions to stakeholders.
- Lead the development of new tools and methodologies to drive analytical outcomes, and oversee researching, structuring, and executing analyses to develop recommendations.
- Provide thought leadership on assessing learner’s knowledge and measure the outcomes that demonstrate the behaviors driving learner performance. Build the infrastructure and experimentation environment to understand and deliver clear business impact.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and opportunities for data-driven insights, and lead on learning measurement and insights strategy, as well as leading the Data Advisory Group (DAG).
- Translate data into insights and recommendations that can be understood by stakeholders in both technical and non-technical audiences.
