As a Solution Engineer, also known as a "Presales Consultant," "Sales Consultant", ”Pre -Sales Engineer” or “Sales Engineer”, you'll be a key player in the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and owning solutions to enhance our customers' experience. Responsibilities
- Being an Auto Industry SE expert your impact will be seen by delivering customer success by owning the technical sales cycle from start to close
- Winning the deal will involve you demonstrating our automotive solutions in the context of the challenges our customers are facing
- When presenting, you will be familiar with differentiating Salesforce solutions in the context of Automotive OEMs and Retailer sales engagements
- As part of the Auto SE team, you will be responsible for defining, creating, and delivering automotive Go To Market messaging and assets for sales engagement
- You will be comfortable leading customer “design-thinking” workshops and public speaking at Salesforce and 3rd part industry events
- You will have a working knowledge of common technology used in the automotive industry (such as Dealer Management Systems) and how Salesforce solutions integrate with those systems
- Your SE role starts with understanding the customer’s needs, and establishing Salesforce’s product as the best solution that solves unique challenges
- Own the relationship between our extended Solutions team and the customers technical team and our Sales Leadership
- Have a strong curiosity about growing your career and participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of selling into the Automotive industry to OEMs and Retailers
- 5 years+ of working in pre-sales role selling enterprise solutions
- A track record of developing innovative customer solutions
- Comfortable creating enterprise architecture roadmaps
- Proven oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
- Confirmed time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
- Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
- Good at searching out information and experimenting, likes to concentrate on a particular topic and to solve puzzles.
- Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.
- Experience working with Salesforce Solutions
- Design-thinking workshop experience
- Hands on knowledge of building AI solutions and the benefits they bring
