Salesforce Marketing Cloud seeks an exceptional Product Management Director to lead creation of a goals-based user experience for Marketers and content building experiences for new marketing channels. In this pivotal role, you will create an experience that leads marketers to faster success creating and operating campaigns - key KPIs for our team. You will also lead content creation experiences for new channels - taking end-to-end ownership and ensuring that marketers can deliver their rich, personalized messages at scale.Broadly, this role is critical to the success of bringing Marketing Cloud technology onto the Salesforce Einstein 1 platform - a top priority for the company this year. We need an exceptional Product Manager to:
- Own the roadmap and development of marketing Prospects - from storage, to user experience - and create innovative solutions that help marketers turn anonymous traffic into marketable leads.
- Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand where we are going.
- Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of Marketing Cloud customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process.
- Drive for the best customer experience possible. Work closely with UX to develop, test, and deliver assets to engineering.
- Measure success. A feature’s release does not constitute success. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development. Develop ways to constantly define and monitor success.
- Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product Managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently. Define expectations for engineering teams and hold them accountable to success and failures. Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to promote your products both internally and externally and ensure a cohesive message.
- 8+ years of product management experience on a SaaS product.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to be both hands-on, drilling down to the details and also seeing the bigger picture and being visionary.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing product features or solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of product roadmap
- Demonstrated success in distributed, global teams
- Experience in a CPaaS provider.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Experience with marketing technology, CRM, and digital marketing is a plus.
- Experience working with an Engineering Team and in Agile methodology.
- Ability to create UX and conceptual examples through wireframes and mockups.
