Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Material Analyst supporting the MPLM group. This position will be filled at the Principal Level and will be located in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities:
- Supports a team-based material organization.
- Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including materials planning, total quality management, procurement, supplier quality assurance, finance, materials systems, customer service, etc.
- May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal customers and suppliers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
- Experience in one or more areas of the material function required.
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of related work experience or a Master's degree and 4+ years of related work experience. Note: An additional 6 years of work-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Basic understanding of material planning signals and supply chain concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Skill and experience working with SAP
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field
- APICS certification in supply chain and/or production control
- Knowledge and use of ERP/MRP systems
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Macros
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or Higher
- Ability to read technical drawings to create bills of material
