Collins Aerospace is looking for a Business Systems Manager – SAP who will be providing support to the SBU on all SAP related issues and resolution of SAP help desk tickets. Responsible for the resolution of complex SAP business problems related to the Advanced Structures SAP system and interfaces. SAP Support Manager will focus on Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO), Sales and Distribution, and FICO functional areas pertaining to SAP.
The SAP Support Manager will report to the SAP Associate Director who is responsible for the entire Advanced Structures SAP support organization.
Work location : This position is in a hybrid model at our Facility in Oakville or Poland site.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage SAP MRO, S&D, FICO functional support for Advanced Structures.
Understand technical background and facilitate the SAP help desk ticketing and resolution process for trouble tickets assigned to manager’s functional area.
Ensure that system fixes and/or changes to address SAP problems do not adversely affect other business processes in their functional area, other functional areas or other SBU teams.
Ensure knowledge transfer is conducted within the team, organization, and the business for changes to their application area.
Ensure proper Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to for help desk SAP ticket management.
Consolidate and prioritize SAP system enhancements and represent the SBU on Enterprise functional advisory boards as necessary.
Develop and deliver SAP end user documentation, processes and training as needed by the SBU.
Provide consultation to users regarding processes and procedures and to ensure business is getting efficiencies out of SAP, in support of CORE activities.
Ensure consistent SAP business practices are aligned with business policies & procedures.
Act as a liaison between Advanced Structures, Collins SAP Service Delivery and Collins Central to identify global SAP issues, resolve problems and escalate to senior management staff when appropriate.
Assist in setting up of any new Advanced Structure objectives (i.e. new plant’s, organizational changes, new products, etc.)
Perform system regression testing for new releases or upgrades to SAP.
Able to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires University Degree and typically minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
A minimum of 4 years of SAP hands on experience in the MRO or/and SD or/and FICO areas.
Experience in manufacturing industry
Must be eligible to work in Canada; Successful candidates must meet all requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale project
Aerospace industry experience
Strong decision making and administrative abilities.
Ability to lead teams, and to guide and motivate support team members.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Excellent communications and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers and within all levels of management.
Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Must be deadline and project-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to customer service and be committed to pro-active review of processes and procedures to continually enhance SAP service quality, service delivery and support.
