Job Summary: The Digital Risk and Opportunity Senior Principal Specialist is an individual contributor and team member of the Digital Risk Management Team within Raytheon’s Digital Technology, Governance, Risk and Compliance organization. The team is comprised of professionals with complementary skill sets who work collaboratively and across Digital Technology to assist leadership in making informed risk-based decisions. You will provide subject matter expertise, support and services across all Digital Directorates and Strategic Business Units and act as an integral part of executing on both functional and business strategy that ultimately enables us to fully comply with complex and evolving customer (DoD and USG) cybersecurity compliance requirements. This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Manage the Raytheon Digital Risk & Opportunity (R&O) Program, which provides risk management governance, tools and services across multiple Digital Technology Directorates and Strategic Business Units.
- Lead Raytheon Digital Technology through the annual Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process and final submission
- Assist the Digital Risk Management team with shaping R&O Program Strategy and Roadmap
- Maintain, update and communicate changes to R&O process documentation
- Become a certified subject matter expert in FAIR methodology, quantitative risk analysis (QRA) processes and usage of QRA SaaS platform
- Perform QRA assessments and report results to CISO, CIO and Digital Leadership Team
- Facilitate monthly Cybersecurity Director-level Risk Review Board and report top Risks to C&C/GRC Leadership
- Manage R&O Program communications and provide guidance and assistance to stakeholders across Digital Technology
- Support the GRC organization by tracking and reporting on R&O metrics
- Develop, maintain and facilitate R&O training and provide ongoing support to users of the Digital Risk Register
- Act as a liaison between Risk Register users and platform developer to ensure seamless end-user experience and quick resolution of identified issues
- Collaborate across RTX on the alignment and standardization of R&O processes
- Champion risk and opportunity awareness by facilitating risk identification exercises and setting risk guidelines
- Contribute to and help achieve the strategic vision of the organization as it evolves
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
- Experience in risk identification, risk assessment and the establishment of mitigation/capture plans, timelines, progress reports and remedial action plans.
- Digital Risk Management certification, (e.g. OpenFAIR, CRISC, CRMP, or CTRPRP)
- Experience leading teams and coordinating deliverables for executive-level consumption.
- Knowledge of the FAIR methodology with experience in quantitative and qualitative risk analysis
- OpenFAIR (Factor Analysis of Information Risk) Certification
- Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation for risk assessments and some experience with risk management software (e.g., RiskLens, Archer, OneTrust, SAFE Security)
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities; Strong team player, with ability to collaborate remotely
- Demonstrated executive presence and influential leadership capability with the ability to interact with senior levels of leadership, including customers and peers across RTX.
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written) with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate risk and DT issues to non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
