Date Posted:2024-05-07 Country:United States of America Location:MA803: Marlborough, MA Building 3 1001 Boston Post Road Building 3, Marlborough, MA, 01752 USA Position Role Type:Onsite As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will join our Air Traffic Systems – Domestic Air Traffic Control team in Marlborough, MA. Air Traffic Systems is developing the next generation Air Traffic Control and Weather Data Reporting systems, GPS aided navigation, as well as providing support to existing fielded systems. This position will work onsite in Marlborough, MA and will requires occasional domestic travel. Primary Responsibilities:
- You will provide technical support and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel
- You will perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement verification and validation.
- You will support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning / development
- You will interface with personnel from other organizations and represent the program at technical interchange meetings.
- You will participate in daily program scrum meetings and provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience in systems engineering or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years experience in systems engineering
- Experience with IBM DOORS, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and systems engineering and architecture tools
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Development experience on an FAA Government Contract
- Experience with Systems Integration and Test
- Experience with Agile Development Processes
- Familiarity with requirements decomposition, flow-down and verification
- Experience with containers and container orchestration (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
