As an Enterprise Sales and Senior Account Manager, you will be a crucial member of our Connected Aviation Solutions Business Development Team. This position provides the opportunity to support and grow AND capture new business within our commercial airlines’ portfolio. The opportunities are ENDLESS! Our products span across Data & Digital Solutions, Networks & Connectivity Solutions, Enablement Products and Airport Solutions. Together, we Connect the Digital Aviation Ecosystem. This position is a remote role type with domestic travel expectations >50%. What YOU Will Do:
- You will build strategic relationships within your accounts and maximizing development and growth opportunities
- You will achieve and expand new and existing revenue and customer loyalty through Account Management
- You will monitor the commercial performance of accounts within a portfolio
- You will identify and develop additional sales potential and lead strategic account development plans thereby maximizing development and growth opportunities
- You will seek new business opportunities within assigned accounts
- You will be responsible for ensuring the proper disposition of technical logistical and operational customer requests and day-to-day business is conducted within the guidelines of established contracts policies and procedures
- You will schedule and attend regular customer meetings; generating and communicating monthly statistical and operational reports; monitoring financials and implementing any corrective action as appropriate and manage contractual and billing issues related to third party maintenance
- You will represent the Connected Aviation Solutions group at conferences and trade shows
- You will learn solution selling approaches through the opportunity of selling multiple products to provide solutions across multiple business units within your customer accounts.
- You will gain exposure to Collins Senior Leadership Teams
- You will become an expert in aligning Collin’s business unit strategies as well as aligning your customer’s business strategy in order to influence your success
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
- Prior experience building and presenting account strategy plans at the senior leadership level
- Proven experience identifying and capturing new business opportunities
- Knowledge or prior exposure to Aviation technology or telecom environments
- Proven ability to understand customer’s strategic plans to provide services and solutions
- Experience working across organizational boundaries
