- Lead communications strategy and execution for the Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center and Emerging Capabilities Development organizations, and coordinate with other parts of the sector and enterprise to amplify business priorities.
- Apply user experience practices in all communications; serve as a translator and provide clear, concise storytelling to explain complex concepts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and work in partnership with other leaders to integrate messages and methods in support of broader business priorities.
- Help develop more impactful content and channel delivery practices to inform and inspire our 100,000 employees, and those who have yet to join us (internal and external communications).
- Serve as a strategic driver who can help set standards, build stronger, more integrated messages.
- Develop executive messaging and thought leadership.
- Design, implement and measure dynamic communications practices.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships.
- Bachelor's degree with six (6) years of experience successfully developing and deploying communications practices or four (4) years of communications experience with Master-level degree
- Demonstrated ability to develop integrated strategic communications plans, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Bachelor's degree with ten (10) years of experience successfully developing and deploying communications practices or eight (8) years of communications experience with Master-level degree
- Demonstrated ability to develop integrated strategic communications plans, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiar with Associated Press Stylebook rules
- Experience establishing and advancing an organization's brand
- Experience in strategic or digital communications, journalism, marketing, public relations
- Experience with social media channels, audiences and practices
