We are currently looking for a Lead Senior Developer to join the Wolters Kluwer Digital eXperience Group (DXG), which designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements more complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities with full competency. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Makes more complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.

Basic Function

In this role you will work in an extended Digital Experience Group Delivery Support and services team of development engineers based out of Pune and responsible for the development and maintenance of Identity and Access Management Solution and its business unit specific Configuration within Wolters Kluwer worldwide. You understand best practices and design patterns and what it takes to deliver I&AM configuration. You need to be able to translate UX design into a working solution while making use of reusable components and artifacts developed by the platform team.

You will be required to develop and deliver code and configuration artifacts as a part of the continuous delivery process.

Role and Responsibilities:

In addition to design and coding, you are expected to communicate regularly with other groups made up of employees in the office and adopt company culture.

• Understand and Translate Business user-specific I&AM requirements into Solutions.
• Understand the in-house I&AM Solution and channel any change request to the platform team.
• Work closely with the Technical lead and Architect to develop a solution as per specifications in Solution design.
• Document the solution and collaborative Agile team consisting of an Architect, Developers, QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and a Product Owner.

Other Duties:

• The position will require working some evening, weekend, and holiday hours. At points in the development, delivery, and support cycle, the position may require 24x7 cell phone availability
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.E/ B Tech. Computer Science) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent, Masters a plus.

• Minimum 5-10 years of work experience
• Strong understanding of I&AM landscape concepts – SSO, Federated SSO, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
• Experience working with Commercial I&AM solutions like Ping Federate.
• Experience with Java, Spring, SQL, REST, JS, HTML/CSS, JUnit, CI/CD
• Strong Hands-on experience working in Unix environments.
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile method of work
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of working with external customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Desire and ability to thrive in a distributed technical environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Passionate about the latest technology trends with a strong desire for innovation
• Self-motivated and self-managing and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge of standard web (SOAP) and Web API
• Experience AWS, LDAP, Bash
• Working with the SAFe approach
• Familiarity with DevOps landscape and scripting is a definite plus
• Familiarity working in a Cloud environment is a definite plus.
