Morgan Stanley’s Rewards & Analytics function specializes in ensuring the Firm has competitive and cost-effective compensation policies and practices. This role is responsible for compensation implementation (e.g., salary, annual and long-term incentive), program design, and administration for exempt and non-exempt staff, year-end management, regulatory filings, market data, compensation accruals and committee/Board level meetings.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a self-starter capable of solving complex problems, have the ability to multi-task across a variety of projects and processes, be a succinct and accurate communicator, and be attentive to details.

 

What you'll do in the role: #BPREP

·        Compensation expense planning/forecasting, coordinating monthly bonus accrual, and preparation of base salary budgets, including accompanying analytics

·        Facilitate the year-end salary and bonus processes

·        Preparation of compensation related modelling and analytics to create senior management exhibits and presenting to management teams to make critical business decisions

·        Preparation of a wide variety of human capital analytics

·        Collaboration with various partners, including Finance, Payroll, Executive Compensation, and BU-specific and Firmwide Compensation Teams

·        Market data coordination and vendor relations BPREP

What you'll bring to the role:

·        Bachelor’s degree

·        2 – 3 years professional-related work experience

·        Ability to develop analytics from multiple streams of data, interpret & analyze trends, develop meaningful story/recommendation and communicate the information in a logical, concise way

·        Must have ability to manage projects in addition to daily responsibilities, ensuring accurate delivery of product to senior management and external stakeholders

·        Strong process and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, re-prioritize as needed and problem-solve autonomously

·        Strong client focus and team player

·        Must have strong attention to detail

·        Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, with ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely

·        Strong Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to Microsoft Access preferred

·        Interest in learning new systems and technologies

·        Enjoy high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic environment

·        Approach work with mindset to continuously improve and streamline processes
