ROLE

 

The candidate will be a part of the Latam E-Trading Strat Desk Strategist Team focusing on onboarding latam currencies into FX E-Trading. This process involves auto-pricing and hedging efficiently.

 

Responsibilities:

-          Work closely with traders to analyze market data with an aim to compute model parameters for efficient hedging

-          Identify patterns and/or suggest new and innovative ways to think about the problem at hand

-          Code back testing strategies and various benchmark P&L models

-          Work closely with other teams (mainly IT) to project manage the onboarding process

 

-          Degree in a quantitative subject such as Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics

-          1-3 years working in the financial services industry

-          Experience in analysis and visualization of large data sets

-          Strong background in programming for the purpose of data analysis (Q/KDB, Python)

-          Working knowledge of fixed income products and markets

-          Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment

-          Ability to communicate effectively and clearly both in writing as well as verbally

 

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 - $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
