We're seeking someone to join our MSBIC Technology team as an IT Security Officer to be responsible for cyber and information security operational work.

What you'll do in the role:

Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.

• Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.
• Report to legal entity CIO; mutual backup of Technology Risk Officer
• Responsible for cyber and information security operational work, and coordinate with global and local IT teams in technical security topics
• Review legal entity's security related testing and assessment results
• Support IT security related systems and services for endpoint protection, data leakage protection, intrusion prevention, application security, etc.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to monitor and respond to security incidents and provide methodical post-even analyses
• Conduct information security related monitoring and checking
• Collaborate with Coverage Team to conduct IT security related trainings to legal entity staff and others
• Assist with regulatory inspections and enquiries on network security
• Develop and enhance local IT security policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards; assure policies are enforced through the practices and tools

Coordinate with service owners / IT system owners / BU system owners and vendors to ensure SLA of security services deliverables are met; and escalate to CIO and CISO when necessary

What you'll bring to the role:

• Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
• Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
• Bachelor or above degree in information security, computer science or relevant major
• 5+ years of experience in IT security operation and management
• Experience in implementing and supporting cybersecurity applications
• Familiar with mainstream security products and solutions
• Familiar with China regulations on network security. Experience in dealing with regulators on cybersecurity, Multi-level Protection Scheme, etc.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
• Experience in a financial service or large complex and/or global environment preferred
