We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Business Analyst to work as part of the wider business analysis project team with a focus around back & middle office business change, risk, and regulatory initiatives.

The Equity Derivative Documentation Team consists of three groups: The Drafting Team, the Retrievals Team and the Verbal Affirmation Team. All teams focus on working to regulator guidelines and market wide best practice.

What you’ll do in the role:

•    The candidate must have 5-10 years professional experience in technology, preferably at a large, multinational, technically complex financial firm, with excellent people and communications skills. Additional consideration will be made for those candidates that have worked with infrastructure departments.
•    Experience in either a Disaster Recovery or technology Business Continuity role or participating in related activities
•    Experience leading and contributing to Technology project management
•    Awareness of industry best practices for Technology DR planning and BCP recovery experience
•    Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to convey complex technical strategies and plans to a wide audience from technician to senior business and IT management
•    Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to be a team player operating with tact and diplomacy

What you’ll bring to the role:

•    The ability to remain professional under unexpected circumstances and time critical pressure
•    Ability to work within tight deadlines and a dynamic environment
•    Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
•    Experience working in virtual teams across geographic boundaries
•    Knowledge or familiarity with Morgan Stanley environment or business applications
•    DR, BCP, ITIL or Project Management accreditation
