About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven salesperson to actively seek out and engage customer prospects to join to work as part of the wider Hong Kong/Singapore intermediaries and Taiwan Sales team in MSIM. Our ideal candidates have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a customer service attitude. As a sales intermediary team, we conduct a range of sales activities with targeted private banks, wealth managers and insurances in our coverage region. This is a senior Vice President position and has a focus to cover on-ground Singapore based bank intermediaries. The role scope includes sales pitching and business development. He/She will also work closely with the broader Hong Kong based team and be part of the team to formulate and implement a consistent regional sales strategy for our client segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales process
  • Present and promote products/services with solid product knowledge to existing and prospective clients
  • Product “Train the trainers” of our intermediary partners
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and client relationships
  • Achieve positive team sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  •  Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contribution.
  •  Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

  • At least 8 years relevant experience in covering Singapore intermediary distribution business would generally be expected to find the skill expected for this role
  • Strong financial product knowledge; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business
  • Self-starters professionals who take initiative and can work without supervision. Be able to work independently as well as a strong team member
  • Fluent English and Chinese speaker
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook required
