The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Products, Credit Products, Commodities and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Fixed Income Division is a market leader across a broad range of markets, with expertise in areas including client risk management, financing solutions and investor products Sales & Trading.

Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will be part of the BCU team which is dedicated to support Asia Fixed Income businesses (including Japan) and is expected to be comfortable leading tasks independently. The candidate will work closely with other members in the Asia BCU team across various locations (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, etc.). Daily or regular tasks related to the risk management function include but are not limited to:
· Ensuring a standardized and consistent approach for the Division to adhere to risk management policies and procedures
· Managing operational risk incidents, general operational queries/issues, and specific programs such as the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”)
· Participating in new client review and ongoing review for existing clients
· Developing and designing new controls & processes within first line
· Monitoring various risk management reports & controls e.g., Internal / Reg limits, trader mandates, non-standard settlement / extended settlement etc.
· Managing the Business Continuity Strategy for the Business
· Supporting regulatory enquiries / inspections / applications, internal audits and compliance testing that impact the Division
Skills Required
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) for effective communication with various teams
· Effective time management and organizational skills within a fast-paced environment
· Good understanding of Franchise Risk, i.e., identifying, analysing and prioritizing regulatory, sanctions, and legal findings
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough; self-motivated, with a desire to help improve processes and work together in a team
· Strong decision-making, sound judgment calls, problem solving and analytical skills; ability to cope with pressure and multi-task
· Ability to plan, organize and deliver results within tight timeframes
· Ability to work collaboratively on group projects and independently on individual assignments.
· Mature and professional; comfortable working in an open-floor working environment.
· Willing and eager to learn and work with different teams and divisions of the Firm; Ability to interact with stakeholders of varying seniority in different groups
· Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Be able to find balance between commerciality and prudent risk management.
Preferable Skills:
· Hold a professional qualification such as CFA, FRM or PRM
· Good knowledge of Fixed Income, FX or Commodities products
