Morgan Stanley is seeking a Communications Manager to join the Global Talent team. The Communications Manager will work with the Head of Communications for Global Talent to support the Firm's overall communication efforts with an emphasis on Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development. This individual will partner with leaders from all levels across the Global Talent organization to deliver against the communications goals of the organization, including driving education and awareness of various Human Capital-related initiatives and programs.
This position requires an understanding of nuanced communications, corporate-level copywriting, project management and excellent relationship skills. The position also requires attention to detail, organization, high-volume output, and experience with digital media platforms such as JIVE, Workiva, Adobe and Social Media platforms. In addition, this position requires advanced experience with presentation building in PowerPoint. This leader must be culturally fluent and sensitive to the needs of various diverse communities both within Morgan Stanley and across society at large.

What you’ll do in the role:
- Manage communication efforts for the Global Talent organization, in partnership with the Head of Communications for Global Talent.
- Champion new, creative ideas to communicate across the Firm.
- Create messaging, content and communications that are tailored to the audience and written in a simple to understand yet engaging, relatable, and authentic way.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to highlight our commitment to engage, inspire and empower our talent, clients, and communities. Key partners include: Diversity and Inclusion, Talent and Business Advisors, Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, and Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.
- Ensure that messaging aligns with overall Firm Core Values, efforts and strategy.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications a bonus, or additional work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5-7 years professional work experience
- Ability to influence and drive positive change as an effective business partner
- Strong experience in project management across multiple business units/stakeholders
- Impeccable writing and communication skills
- Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion theories and practices

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
