As a Solution Sales Specialist (Azure), you will drive business growth for Microsoft Azure solutions, engaging with enterprise customers to identify their needs around cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation. You will work with internal solution architects and Microsoft ecosystem partners to develop and close opportunities that deliver measurable business value.
- Possess and maintain expert knowledge of Azure technologies and related components.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with field-based account managers to own pre-sales activities for assigned solutions.
- Analyze and gather business requirements from complex client environments to create accurate technical solution proposals.
- Prepare cost estimates for professional and managed services (deployment, migration, implementation, workshops, etc.).
- Present proposals and statements of work (SOW) to customers, driving scope and commercials toward sign-off.
- Handover signed deals to delivery teams and stay engaged for governance and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop overall solutions including architectural design, SOW, service design, and bills of materials.
- Act as a technical evangelist, including speaking engagements at conferences, user groups, and webinars.
- Collaborate with business development managers and local sales leadership to drive new business opportunities and support customer acquisition.
- Maintain and report on regional service delivery, sales pipeline, and project status.
