As an SAP Pre-Sales Functional / Data Solution Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping, positioning, and validating SAP-led transformation opportunities. Partnering with Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Technical Solution Consultants, you will help design value-driven SAP solutions that improve process efficiency, data integrity, and business decision-making.
This role bridges business objectives and technical enablement—demonstrating how SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and RISE with SAP can deliver measurable business value through integrated data and process transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges, functional pain points, and data maturity.
- Define functional solution approaches across key SAP domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Analytics.
- Collaborate with BDEs and Technical Pre-Sales Consultants to translate customer needs into cohesive SAP transformation roadmaps.
- Develop business case narratives, including value drivers, KPIs, and ROI models for SAP investments.
- Support discovery sessions and value workshops to map “as-is” and “to-be” process flows.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations focused on process optimization and business data insights.
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, particularly in areas of functional design, process alignment, and business value justification.
- Work closely with Technical Consultants to ensure solution integrity across functional, data, and infrastructure layers.
- Stay current on SAP product evolution, including innovations in S/4HANA, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, and AI/automation.
- Contribute to reusable assets such as business value frameworks, industry process templates, and demo scenarios.
