Meet The Speakers

Stephanie Collett
Stephanie Collett
Director for Strategic Sourcing, Amazon

Stephanie Collett is the Director for Strategic Sourcing within Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization. Her organization builds and manages innovative supply chain products that unlock value for both Amazon and its suppliers by aligning Amazon technology with suppliers’ core capabilities. She also sets the strategic direction for Diversity and Inclusion in SCOT as the Executive Sponsor of the SCOT D&I program. Stephanie started at Amazon in 2013 in fulfillment center operations in Southern California and has led teams in sortable FCs and reverse logistics centers. Before assuming her current role in 2017, Stephanie was the General Manager for CMH1, an Amazon Robotics FC. Prior to Amazon, Stephanie worked in the oil industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Southern California and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and son (age 4), completing 1000 piece puzzles, and trying new wines.

Jenny Freshwater

Vice President Forecasting, Amazon
Jenny Freshwater leads Forecasting for Amazon’s consumer businesses worldwide. Jenny joined Amazon in 2010 and has held several positions during her 10 years with the company. Her career at Amazon started when she ran the software platform for the Amazon data warehouse, which stores petabytes of data used across the company for analytics and decision support. Jenny is currently responsible for forecasting long-range demand trends, fulfillment center capacity needs and demand for each product sold on Amazon sites worldwide. Prior to Amazon, Jenny built “big data” storage solutions for a variety of companies in the US. She has a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Miami, FL. Jenny currently lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband, son and daughter.
Julie Mitchell

Solutions Design and Innovation Manager, Amazon Robotics
Julie Mitchell is a Solutions Design and Innovation manager at Amazon Robotics, focused on robotic solutions for Amazon's Customer Fulfillment and Transportation business units. Julie's team is responsible for designing next generation fulfillment and transportation solutions that meets the business requirements and customer needs in North America, Europe, Asia and other emerging regions. Julie's team collaborates with several Amazon worldwide engineering design teams to integrate Amazon Robotics solutions into the overall building design and network topology. Prior to joining Amazon Robotics, Julie was the Product Line Manager for Oracle's Systems Business Manufacturing and Supply Chain organization. At Oracle, Julie lead a team of manufacturing engineers, test engineers, and Operations program managers to bring new products from concept development to customer release, as well as responsibility for sustaining of several high volume product lines. Julie joined Oracle through the acquisition of Sun Microsystems, where she held roles as a Supplier Engineering manager, Program Manager and Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer. Julie is a Six Sigma Black belt. She holds an MS in Management from MIT's Sloan School of Business, an MS in Systems Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University, and a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
Kelly Riedel
Kelly Riedel
Director of Supply Chain and Operations for Amazon Robotics
Kelly Riedel is the Director of Supply Chain and Operations for Robotics at Amazon. She and her team are responsible for sourcing, manufacturing, and delivering Amazon’s dynamic fleet of autonomous mobile robots, and other robotic technology, in North America, Europe, Asia, and other emerging regions. An attorney by trade, she previously led the legal team for Amazon Robotics, and prior to that was Senior Counsel at HMH Publishing Company, focused on technology transactions, and a member of the IP Transactions team at Skadden, Arps. Prior to her time as an attorney, Kelly worked for five years in the fields of domestic violence, and criminal justice with a focus on female offenders. Kelly brings high energy, high standards, and a results-oriented approach to her work, and throughout her career has been a passionate mentor, coach, and advocate for women in the workplace. She holds a B.A. from Middlebury College, a J.D. from Berkeley Law School, and was a member of the 2016 Harvard Business School Women’s Leadership Forum. Kelly resides in Massachusetts with her husband and two children. Over her desk, she has a print that reads, “Here’s to Strong Women: May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.” She’s striving to do all three.
Jovonia (Jo) Thibert
Jovonia (Jo) Thibert
Director – Robotics Strategy, Amazon
Jo joined Amazon in March 2020 and leads Amazon Human Factors Ergonomic Innovations (AHFEI) for Robotics, based in Seattle, WA. Currently, her team is partnering with safety and product teams across Operations on ergonomics analysis and predictive analytics. Jo enjoys sharing her experience and learnings with others. She has been able to do this by actively mentoring other Amazonians and collegiate students. Her prior experience includes design engineering, leadership coaching, safety management and change management. Jo graduated from the University of Tulsa completing BS in Electrical Engineering, BA in Music and MS in Electrical Engineering. Since then, she has also earned an MBA in Management from Seattle Pacific University. When Jo is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, singing, traveling, cooking and leadership coaching.
Brianne Lovette

Director of Product Management, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies
Bri is a 9 year Amazonian who leads Product Management in Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT). Prior to her current role Bri led product management for key FBA Seller Business Intelligence and Global Selling products. She has nearly 20 years of experience in Product Management, Business Management (P&L management) and Market Research. Bri is passionate about building and developing teams, the intersection of the physical and virtual world, and delighting customers with technology products. Bri resides in Seattle, WA with her husband (Pedro) her two kids (Abe and Mila) and her dog (Doc). She enjoys camping with her family, baking, and learning new languages.

General Manager, WHS World Wide Retail, Amazon

Dovie Majors is a 20 year, seasoned, Global leader. Dovie is GM, WHS for the World Wide Retail and GSF network. Since joining Amazon in 2018, she has been a GM in North America Customer Fulfillment and in Amazon Air where she launched and converted a third party operation to blue badge. Prior to Amazon, she spent 7 years in the mining, metals and energy sector where she was the Vice President owning Safety, Environmental, RME and Operations. Prior to that, she spent 15 years in tire manufacturing with and 5 years in the United States Air Force as an avionics maintenance specialist. Dovie has an MBA and a BS/BA from the University of Phoenix. She has an A/AS from Oklahoma State University. Dovie is 6 Sigma Black Belt certified and holds credentials as a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist. Dovie is a mentor with WOMEN-Unlimited, Inc. where she contributed to the book, “Women Are Changing the Corporate Landscape”. Dovie lives in Madeira Beach, FL and loves to vacation with her boyfriend, son and other family. She enjoys country music concerts, tasting new foods, raving over football and exploring any city she is in like a tourist.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion Director, Amazon Worldwide Consumer

Kristen Puchek leads the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) organization for Amazon Worldwide Consumer, which includes a team of ~40 DEI specialists, program managers, research scientists, and analytics professionals to support ~1 MM employees worldwide. Serves as a subject matter advisor to the CEO, WW Consumer and Head of HR, WW Consumer around DEI strategy and integration across business and HR programs/processes. Her organizations establishes the DEI vision, strategy, and goals and closely collaborates with and advises HR partners in talent management, talent acquisition, learning & development, employee sentiment, employee relations, employer brand/PR/Comms, talent products, and talent planning teams on integrated strategies and programs. Prior to this role, Kristen led the DEI organization in Amazon Devices & Services. Prior to joining Amazon, Kristen was a leader in Deloitte Consulting’s Human Capital practice, specializing in DEI, Organization and Talent strategies. Kristen co-founded and led Deloitte’s Strategic Inclusion practice for the US firm, where she managed the go-to-market strategy as well as methods and tools for delivering DEI work to clients. Kristen partnered with senior executives in global Fortune 100 clients across industries to design DEI and leadership strategies, driving authenticity and innovation throughout the organization.
