Human Resources Communications Manager
Human Resources (HR) Communications Manager to support Global HR and US HR activities on a 50/50 basis. Responsible for: strategic planning, development and coordination of HR communications programs to support both US and global HR Operations, including benefits, retirement, and many other HR programs.
US HR Communications - 50%:
- Oversee HR communications planning for diverse base of U.S. employees and operating entities, working with a strategic mindset and focused on outcomes
- Design and deliver HR-specific internal communication strategies, programs, and materials for all HR programs including talent, performance, benefits, etc.- collaborating closely with the Global HR Communications Lead to ensure alignment and consistency with local tailoring and context
- Develop messaging and positioning to deliver meaning and help drive employee engagement, based on overall, global HR messaging, tailored to local audiences
- Partner with various HR leaders and business partners to reach teams across the U.S.
- Facilitate leadership communications from HR leaders to various internal audiences
- Support change management communications for HR programs and employee integrations as needed
- Partner with HR teams to optimize existing internal HR digital information portals and support migration to People Portal
- Facilitate HR team communications and support high-level HR events
- Partner with Talent team to create content for U.S. Careers website and employer social media, based on global employer branding messaging, look & feel
- Coordinate region-wide HR communications across the organization
- Enable & strengthen regional HR leader/manager communications
HR Operations (global) communications - 50%:
- Oversee strategic and outcomes focused communications planning and execution for HR Operations - HR Ops to Hitachi Energy; aligned with HR overall communications priorities and messaging
- Help HR Operations prioritize to deliver priority communications to Hitachi Energy employees in a timely and cadenced way
- Design and deliver HR Ops specific project/workstream communication strategies, programs and materials in line with priorities
- Support HR Ops specific tasks on global People Portal
- Enable lean and fit for purpose communication approaches HR Ops to Hr Ops, delivered primarily by HR Ops leaders/managers
- Strengthen HR leader and manager communications within HR Ops
- Support change management communications for HR Ops as needed
- Ensure effective communications measurement focusing on outcomes and activities to help further prioritize, maximize impact and eliminate non-value adding work
