Job Descriptions:
The Executive Financial Services (EFS) technology team supports a trading platform for Morgan Stanley's high net-worth and C-suite clients who are subject to SEC regulation Rule 144 that governs trading/transactions by insiders and control stockholders. In addition to review and monitoring of trading/transactions made on behalf of these clients, the EFS business also creates and manages their 10b5-1 trading plans. Morgan Stanley is the market leader in both the overall Rule 144 business and the 10b5-1 trading plan segment.
Position Descriptions
We are looking for a leadership development role with capabilities to fully understand the business and work across platforms. The team supports an active trading platform that is designed to facilitate trading strategies, high volumes, SEC regulation compliance. The candidate will be part of a grassroots agile development team who must participate in story sessions and design discussions, and will collaborate with the business users throughout the agile development process.
Strong analytical skills, core Java experiences, and a relevant technology background are required. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and have significant experiences in application development, strong technical background, and good communication skills. He/she will interact with other technologists across the firm, as well as with business users.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of 15 and lead development and collaboration with the business
* Help build a new platform for supporting various business processes within the Executive Financial Services group.
* Design and develop sophisticated new, modern user interfaces that consume data from various back-end sources
* Take ownership for the whole end to end delivery process, performing analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of distributed applications
