Responsibilities and Impact: The successful candidate will support the commercial strategy team for S&P Global Ratings globally to ensure that OneCommercial team achieves its key business objectives to grow the core ratings business and expand across markets, geographies, and emerging risks
- Develop a strong understanding of Ratings business strategic objectives and operations.
- Prepare and organize content for internal and external senior engagements, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel analysis.
- Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to support business processes.
- Support the Commercial Strategy team in managing existing and new affiliate relationships including inorganic execution and integration.
- Support the Product team with product innovation as well as customer intake surveys and market-sounding focus groups to acquire market intelligence.
- Work with internal Product Integration team in order to leverage and optimize existing platforms for efficiency such as Ratings360, Salesforce, and other platforms.
- Conduct research for competitive intelligence to inform the Commercial Strategy Senior Leadership team.
- Support strategic projects and ad-hoc business initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience, ideally in financial services
- Highly proficient skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (additional BI tools a plus; Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (speech writing experience a plus)
