RemoteThe B&RA Owner/Operator Senior Manager is responsible for managing the business development efforts for a team of sales professionals focused on new Business Aviation aircraft pursuits consistent with Collins Aerospace Business & Regional Avionics (B&RA) goals and objectives. This includes developing an understanding of Business Aviation Owner/Operator most important requirements and problem sets. The selected candidate will develop and execute coordinated business development strategies that leverage Collins Aerospace products, systems, support services, expertise and customer affinity from all of the Raytheon Technologies enterprise portfolios.

- Consolidate customer feedback and monitor trends
- Drive active collaboration across team boundaries to develop a shared ownership model
- Manage assigned territory and accounts for regular contact with Business Aviation owners & operators in the Americas region
- Actively coordinate 3rd party partnerships with owner-pilot and other industry advocate groups as appropriate
- Ensure team prepares and leads Gate reviews to authorize pursuit activity and mature opportunities
- Work with Marketing to prepare customer demonstrations & thought leadership campaigns
- Monitor team performance through development of metrics utilizing existing tool sets: Customer 360 (Salesforce.com), Highspot Sales Enablement, & LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Model and coach their team on the Challenger Sale process; Teach, Tailor and Take Control
- Can identify key stakeholders and their profile, i.e. blocker, mobilizer, talker, etc.
- Development of strategies, tactics, and tools to neutralize blockers and coach mobilizers to become advocates
- Ability to understand how to translate customer requirements, unmet needs and gaps into Challenger insights helping the customer build a business case for Collins differentiated solutions
- Understanding of how to tailor messaging to help the customer build consensus around the buying decision
- Demonstrates ability to Take Control of the customer conversation to tactfully challenge the customer’s assumptions
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Business Aviation industry background with particular emphasis on owner-pilot, fractional, and charter concepts of operation is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the execution of lead generation campaigns with a fractional or charter operator is highly desired.
- The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of avionics including autopilot, weather radar, flight management systems, datalink communications, head-up displays, and primary flight instruments.
- A working knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration regulations governing Part 91 & Part 135 operations and the ability to thrive across multiple cultures is desired.
- A multi-lingual candidate with strong English speaking skills is preferred.
- Experience working for or with aircraft OE manufacturers is desired.

The candidate should be confident and communicate masterfully in oral and written presentations, and have sufficient technical background, either through experience or education, to have a basic understanding of the technology for which she/he will be responsible.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
