Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in embedded systems and devices software industry, and in technical leadership, people management, leading development, testing of mobile phones, or modem.
- Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python).
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 8 years of experience in the cellular industry managing or leading development or testing of mobile phones and modem.
- Experience in using test equipment (e.g., Keysight UXM, Amarisoft, or R&S CMW/CMX) to perform modem functional and performance testing, test case design, and test automation.
- Knowledge in 3GPP protocols (NR, LTE) and cellular system operation.
- Knowledge in performing modem testing and debugging modem issues.
- Excellent programming skill in Python or Java.
- Develop test cases and test automation mechanisms, utilizing both live networks and test equipment, to effectively verify Pixel modem software and detect Pixel modem issues in labs.
- Evaluate new features of each Pixel project. Work with cross-functional teams to design test plans and verify new features of all modem functions including RF, layer 1, AS, NAS, IMS, etc.
- Create technologies and frameworks to ensure efficient and timely test execution and delivery of reliable test results.
- Develop and manage modem sanity tests to ensure proper operation of modem functions and modem performance.
- Provide test hosting service for the organization and strive to improve the efficiency and efficacy of managed test cases.
