The Job's Mission Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for setting up, rolling out and managing the business for the Foot & Ankle division in the North of Spain and Portugal. This individual is responsible for supporting agents and distributors in the sales of the designated product or grouping of products. The Product Specialist will provide customer support and teamwork with regional franchise, particularly through partnership with the sales teams. Provide customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new customers. Plan, execute and monitor all measures necessary to guarantee achievement of regional sales budget. This encompasses in particular:
- Monthly Sales action plans coordinated with primary product sales team
- Customer care for hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
- Organization and conduction of training
- Identification of local KOLs, proposition of local action plans
- Coordination of the distribution and logistics of products with the support of the related manager
- Regular reporting to Sales Managers, of the development of sales, and adaptation to the circumstances of the market
- Accomplishment of Sales Actions and control of hospital management
- Knowledge of the range of products and their surgical techniques
- Segregation of waste in your department
- Outgoing and persuasive manner and ability to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values
- Confidence and persistence
- Patience and self-motivation
- Flexible approach to work in order to adapt to changes
- Strong teamwork and networking skills
- Positivity and a willingness to roll up the sleeves
- Curious and with a strong need to always learn and develop yourself
- Valid driving license
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
- Min 2 years of sales or marketing experience in Medical Devices
- Experience working with medical implants, ideally in the orthopedic sector
- Strong knowledge of the Hospital Environment
- Work experience developed in the area of North & Portugal
- Fluent level of Spanish
- Experience working with Surgeons in operating rooms
- 4 years of experience in Sales and Marketing role working with lower extremities implants
- Fluent or conversational level of English
- Experience working with Surgeons in operating rooms
