Job DescriptionYour Role
The Manager, Strategic Finance position supports the Sr. Manager – Revenue & Product in providing Finance and Product leadership timely reporting and useful insights on business performance to drive better decision making and results. This role structures and develops analysis of Invesco product and AUM data to drive actionable insights for Invesco Leadership, partnering regularly with the Corporate Strategy and Product Governance Teams.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Developing, constructing, and maintaining product reporting, decision models, analysis, and pro-forma financial statements for potential product initiatives and other significant business opportunities, considering relevant strategic criteria.
Partnering with Product Governance to prepare capital analysis and forecasts to drive decision making by Invesco leadership. Report progress, analyze results, and recommend actions as appropriate.
Analyzing firm-wide, regional, and functional financial results and relevant trends to identify and understand risks to achieving the firm’s financial objectives- recommend actions to improve the firm’s financial outlook and drive profitable growth.
Preparing ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis related to Invesco’s strategic priorities and growth strategy, including performance benchmarking and special projects.
Building, interpreting, and delivering global model reporting in the form of presentations, performance dashboards, and other visual means for business leaders, including senior executives.
The Experience You Bring:
5+ years of Finance experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, scenario planning, forecasting and decision modeling understanding business profitability.
Prior experience in investment management or financial services is a plus.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
Experience with Oracle Financial suite including Hyperion Planning and Budgeting and Profitability/Cost Management is a plus
Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation.
Highly analytical, able to interpret large data sets and complex problems facing a multi-billion-dollar global business
Ability to lead projects, multi-task oriented
Ability to work in a team environment across functions and geographic locations.
Effectively makes fact-based decisions and solving problems consider short term and longer-term global impacts. Ensuring that decision making reflects Invesco’s principles, client interests and business objectives.
