Join our team as a Lead Cross Cloud Solution Architect and play a pivotal role in crafting innovative solutions that combine Salesforce products to meet strategic customer requirements and also integrate with other technologies. Work with our most innovative top-tier UK & Ireland customers to develop scalable, customer-centric architectures for both B2C and B2B engagements, and help them with their transformational strategies in enterprise software pre-sales cycles.
- Design solution architectures and roadmaps aligned with customer digital transformation and cloud adoption goals as part of our pre-sales engagement process.
- Use knowledge and experience to propose data flows and integrated architectures across Salesforce and other cloud and on-premise platforms, catering to large user bases and data volumes.
- Determine which Salesforce technologies to leverage in customer specific architecture proposals to create a connected experience, joined up data strategy and end to end architecture across multiple products / vendors / solutions.
- Utilise Salesforce technologies to create seamless, data-driven, end-to-end architectures across diverse products and vendors.
- Drive and take ownership of key functional and technical discussions and considerations around change initiatives, both with internal and customer facing teams. Deliver global impact on customer success and adoption by the creation, establishment, documentation and sharing of leading practices in the above areas.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Convert business needs into effective Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring long-term customer success.
- Lead technical sales engagements, crafting and documenting tailored solutions.
- Partner with Salesforce's Product, Services, Technical and Enterprise Architecture teams through the pre-sales cycle to establish optimal processes and reference architectures.
- Identify and quantify architecture risks in customer proposals and recommend appropriate avoidance and mitigations.
- Supply customer with handover/handshake framework with best practice recommendations and guidance that can be used by a SI (Systems Integrator) or Salesforce Services during subsequent implementation phases.
- Contribute to and promote best practice solution architecture globally.
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge vital to be effective in the position
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Multi-year experience in either software, system or enterprise architecture disciplines
- Previous practitioner and/or implementation experience of Salesforce CRM solutions across Marketing and/or Commerce and Sales and/or Service, and Data Cloud.
- Knowledgeable in several of the following areas :
- Integration : SaaS to SaaS or on-premise integration, API lifecycle management, ESB / iPaaS, batch ETL/ELT integration, REST, OData, Kafka, pub-sub and event-based integration, platform and micro-service integration approaches.
- Data : Operational/transactional vs analytical/warehousing systems, Master Data Management, Data Stores e.g. RDBMSs, SQL, Cloud Storage, Data Strategy and Governance
- Architected / implemented end-to-end solutions on public cloud - Salesforce, AWS, Azure, GCP achieving scalable, reliable and manageable solutions for customers
- Deep expertise in two or more Salesforce product offerings : Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, MuleSoft
- Good communication / presentation skills - ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to customer stakeholders and ability to explain the business value of digital transformation.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a technical pre-sales role at a technology vendor or implementation consultancy including solution selling approaches.
- Understanding of security and privacy in UK and EU markets.
- Experience with integration, data analytics, AI tools, and Salesforce development (Apex/LWC, Java, JavaScript).
