How will you make an impact in this role? The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Credit Cards industry ecosystem and demonstrate natural curiosity for sales business models. He/she should have outstanding communication skills in Spanish and English, verbal and written. The role requires strict deadlines management, strong focus on detail and quality of deliverables (internal reports and presentations for senior leadership teams); ramp up quickly the learning curve to understand Amex business model, KPIs, financials and sources of information. Teamwork and collaboration attitude are a must. Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Centralize several planning activities ranging from acquisition performance analysis to building Executive Views/Summaries for the VP.
- Reporting includes build and consult data from Cornerstone and Tableau.
- Produce executive presentations for the VP with top quality in formatting, wording, and data accuracy.
- Understand AXP and its processes. Needs to communicate clearly, lead conversations and demonstrate proactivity for timely escalations.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering).
- 1 year of related work experience.
- Preferred SQL/Python programing skills.
- Strong at building presentations / telling the story through a deck (essential).
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Effective at driving collaboration, influencing, and working with cross functional partners at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and manage multiple data requests follow-ups.
