About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):07 The Team: The associate will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for all onboarding, data research, and processing functions on the Loan Operations Team which primarily supports ClearPar users and their system functionality needs. Responsibilities and Impact: In this position, you will gain exposure to an exciting financial market and interact daily with our clients of varying levels of seniority. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about finance, banking, syndicated loan market, and Software as a Services (SAAS) technology.
- As an Associate, you are expected to support our clients and the business with operational duties and all trade support functions to ensure sufficient trade and syndicated facility data integrity. These include but are not limited to accurately reviewing and maintaining asset and contract data, new deal creation, processing amendments, creating/modifying transfer docs, and primary delayed compensation syndication maintenance.
- You are tasked with providing onboarding support for new clients, their team members, and accounts as requested to ensure a smooth and effective quality-controlled onboarding process across multiple products.
- Strict adherence to processing deadlines, quality-controlled operational processes, and LSTA/LMA standards for processing and closure of primary and secondary par loan transactions and/or trades.
- You will be responsible for pro-actively identifying internal and external trade and system related issues effectively. This will also require the ability to work seamlessly with internal partners and management on resolution plans and/or additional escalations.
- Your ability to capture and channel user feedback through proper communication and listening skills is imperative. You will be required to partner with leaders, peers, product associates, sales, and relationship managers on required projects to service our clients and facilitate the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- You should be willing and able to cross train with neighboring divisions of the firm to provide an agile workforce capable of handling issues and engaging with joint clients.
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams.
- Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
- Exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with senior members of client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
- Goal and action orientated, with ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage projects independently when required.
- Customer service experience from any field is a plus!
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be able to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise.
- Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications.
- Ability to think laterally, provide proper issue analyses, and question current processes.
- Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong process improvement skills
- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
- 1 - 3 years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in client management or operations can be considered.
- Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Power Bi and/or Tableau experience
