Job Details
• Assist in developing and refining GSS product identification and planning processes. • Assist with developing GSS communication material for various markets and Regions. • Develop reports and presentations to communicate current and planned states of GSS products and projects. • Learn the basic processes of analyzing the business potential for product ideas, including market research and basic financial modeling. • Identify one of the potential GSS products that are in the development pipeline and create analysis and a presentation with recommendations to pursue or not pursue the potential product. • Focus could be global, and could involve the Marine, Power Generation, On-highway, or Off-highway markets. • Analytical skills to think through how potential products could be used to address customer needs • MS Office suite skills for PowerPoint, Excel, and Word necessary. • Passion to learn about creating new business opportunities. • Effective interpersonal skills, including verbal communications necessary to discuss ideas with peers and co-workers. Selected candidate will be able to participate in coaching and development within the Global Sales & Service functions, regional marketing and sales teams, regional service organizations, and how we understand and help address customers’ needs. There will be opportunities to meet and work with multiple Cummins people in multiple organizations. Position will include working with people focused on Marketing and Communications, Digital Solution Development, and New Business Creation. Selected candidate will participate in a full calendar of STW events including leadership speaker sessions, corporate responsibility activity, and training. Pay rate $16.89.
