Job Description The team: The HR Digital function is a strategic capability within the Employee Experience function of Invesco Human Resources. HR Digital strives to continually improve the employee experience through the enablement and continuous delivery of technology and process improvement. Your role: Invesco is seeking a motivated individual with strong experience in compensation processes to join our HR Digital team, leading improvements, and enablement of Compensation capabilities in Workday. We’re looking for team members who are passionate about the opportunity to contribute to providing an outstanding employee experience at Invesco. You will be responsible for:
- Lead all aspects of & communicate roadmap and vision of Advanced Compensation product in Workday.
- Lead and coordinate with global process owners as the Workday functional authority to implement new functionality, changes and enhancements to Workday across all phases– including business process discovery, design, configuration, testing, training and deployment.
- Balance priorities between strategic new development against ongoing production support and negotiate trade-offs with partners.
- Work with cross-functional team members to support payroll impacts of Advanced Compensation processes
- Support Workday Core Compensation roadmap and act as back up functional support where required.
- Use project management skills, agile practices, and governance processes to support initiatives end to end from project planning through testing to delivery.
- Provide consulting and coaching to process owners and collaborators during business process design, while communicating system options, recommendations, risks, and downstream impacts related to decisions.
- Lead Workday design sessions and discussions needed for collaborators and business owners to make decisions and gain understanding.
- Work with technical resources to maintain platform health and look for continuous improvement options, as well as assist with troubleshooting/resolution of product issues.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with business and functional leadership and process owners.
- Proactively identify, resolve, and raise issues, concerns, and impediments
- Recognize available options and selects the appropriate course of action with the highest business value.
- Validate business partner needs and document requirements for improvements, fixes and reports.
- Identifies goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value; continually making recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on findings
- Stay current with Workday releases and continuously build product knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years functional knowledge with compensation business processes
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree from a 4-year university.
- 3-5 years’ experience supporting Workday Advanced and/or Core Compensation or equivalent SaaS system.
- Experience with Workday, project lifecycle and/or Agile practices preferred
- A driver, decision maker, conclusive, and effective team collaborator.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and proactively handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Strong communicator who can translate sophisticated system ideas and capabilities digestible for understanding by end-users. Strong ability to lead and influence partners and peers
- Impeccable analytical skills and consistent track record of driving projects to delivery.
- Organized, self-motivated, highly adaptable, and have a strong desire to embrace change.
- Solid teamwork and interpersonal skill, engaging daily with a team.
- Ability and/or experience to work independently as well as in a team environment through collaboration and consultation skills while working with individuals from all backgrounds and organizational levels and across functional areas
- Flexibility in schedule to meet with stakeholders across multiple time zones. Evening or early morning calls occasionally required.
