Position summary:
The Senior Talent Development Partner leads talent development efforts toward building Manager/Leader Capability by the facilitation and deployment of learning and development solutions from the Stryker leadership core curriculum and global offerings.
This position is part of the global People & Organisational Development (POD) Centre of Excellence (COE) and will work closely with the Country/assigned geography business leaders and HR teams to deliver learning and development solutions.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Lead the facilitation and deployment of talent development solutions from the Stryker core curriculum and other Global Offerings to the country/assigned geography.
- Conduct needs analysis with local leaders to determine the right learning solutions.
- Manage course communication, enrollment, and facilitator assignments.
- Conduct/facilitate core learning and development programs in the country/assigned region as needed i.e. Leadership Milestone Programs, High Potential Development Programs, Global Leadership Series, etc.
- Make appropriate adjustments to curriculum as needed to meet cultural needs of region to ensure relevancy.
- Partner with the POD design and development team to improve Stryker’s development offering and roadmaps, online platforms and content based on stakeholder feedback.
- Consult with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders within the region on delivery of development programs. Partner with HR leaders within region to assess development needs, source solutions, collect feedback and evolve program offerings.
- Provide meaningful metrics and data by leverage global tools, processes, and resources to demonstrate the value of programs and support ongoing enhancements.
- Lead local POD activities along with providing coaching and development opportunities for the HR Business Partners to grow in their roles.
- Partner and coach HR leaders and leadership teams in their development and delivery of local strategy and goals.
- Be the liaison between the POD COE and key HR and business stakeholders to support POD initiatives and projects (succession planning, engagement & performance, leadership coaching, 360 coaching, Gallup Strengths coaching)
- Partner with the Quality team in support of Quality Management System (QMS) training activity and record keeping for audit purposes including Stryker Learning Management System (SLMS).
- Partner with local functional learning and development (Sales, Finance, RAQA) to ensure alignment of learning solutions and minimise duplication of efforts.
Education & special trainings:
Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field will be looked upon favourably.
Qualifications & experience:
Strong experience in the areas of Human Resources, organisation development, training, and development, and/or talent management in a team-based environment, or related business experience
- Strong experience in program facilitation and learning and development program design and development required.
- Strong experience in talent management, performance development, or related functional specialty.
- Experience partnering and coaching leadership teams.
- Experience in implementing and leveraging leadership development tools, programs, and processes.
- Global leadership and/or multinational experience will be looked upon favourably.
- Strong interest in partnering across various geographies and cultures.
- Proven experience in influencing multiple stakeholders across business units and geographies to align on solutions.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and building strong and influential relationships at all levels within an organisation; problem solving and proactive service orientation.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present information in clear, concise executive level ready format.
- Proven ability to drive program engagement, lead people through change and meet deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
