About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):10 Responsibilities
- Work as part of an agile development team to design, estimate, develop and implement software solutions that satisfy the business requirements.
- Establish testing procedures to ensure application is thoroughly tested throughout development and before release.
- Collaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinement.
- Collaborate with other developers as necessary to resolve different tasks.
- Work independently as necessary.
- Monitor and report to management and/or technical lead on project status, identify issues that may impede attainment of goals, recommend and implement corrective measures.
- Continuously learn and expand knowledge in area of specialization.
- Perform other duties as required.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with programming languages, programming techniques, web development technologies and use of databases.
- Excellent knowledge with relational databases (SQL Server) and working with SQL statements.
- Excellent knowledge with SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers and SQL Agent jobs.
- Excellent knowledge with Microsoft .NET Framework C# / WCF / WPF
- Experience with Infragistics controls is a plus.
- Expertise with Python.
- Experience with Azure DevOps – User Stories, Bug tracking.
- Support the monthly operations tasks on the data exchange processes between different teams and products.
- Support users on data and functionality questions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with Agile development approach and methodologies.
- Capable of performing tasks in a dynamic/changing environment.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and come with an attitude to learn and be a team player.
- Proficient in English language.
- Reports directly to development management.
- Interacts with other colleagues at all levels in the conduct of day-to-day activities.
- Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Participates in meetings with internal stakeholders to assess business need.
- Experience in the automotive domain is a plus.
