Your Role:
This role is the first to support both in-Office and remote users. As IT Support Engineer you will be part of the global IT Team that provides Corporate Technology support for day-to-day IT issues.
What you would be responsible for:
- Support daily operations of workplace technology in Atlanta.
- Support for technologies such as, Office 365, Azure AD, Teams, Zoom, Slack, Confluence and JIRA and Atlassian products.
- Work with the team onboarding new users and organizing equipment delivery.
- Support user hardware, including laptops and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions to minimize disruption to the user.
- Identify and suggest improvements to processes and procedures used by the Service Desk to create an exceptional working experience for our technology users.
- Manage New starters and leaver tickets organising equipment delivery and conducting IT inductions
- Keep the hardware asset register and in-office stock up to date.
- Support our core end user platform, consisting of tools such as Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Authenticator Security, Teams, Zoom, Slack, Confluence and JIRA.
- Monitor open tickets, ensuring resolutions and appropriate updates are carried out.
- Ensure tickets are triaged, resolved or escalated within SLAs.
- Working with people at all levels of the firm to proactively ensure productivity and that issues are quickly and professionally resolved.
- Create and update Service Desk documentation.
- Record and maintain Confluence pages with request problems, solutions, and instructions.
- Support ad hoc technical projects and duties as required.
Experience you bring:
Bachelors Degree or relevant education in computer science or related engineering discipline; or significant prior experience in end user support.
Certification in Microsoft technologies is preferred.
- Technical experience in Office 365, Microsoft Exchange
- Azure knowledge will be beneficial.
- Experience working in Windows OS.
- Experience in JIRA or other ticketing system.
- Experience with the audio conferencing support and , integrated AV systems such as Crestron and, Zoom Rooms.
- Ability to demonstrate day to day usage of engineering principles.
- Solid understanding of today's AV technology.
- Prior IT Support experience required
