The role
We are looking for an expert Cloud Architect (gender neutral) to design, implement, and secure core cloud solutions in Azure and AWS environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Transition the organization to “Serverless,” “SAAS first,” and “Cloud Native first” development.
- Design and improve scalable, modern, and resilient core infrastructure solutions on Azure/AWS.
- Develop architecture blueprints, design specifications, and security controls documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, governance, and compliance teams to enhance cloud environments.
- Stay updated on new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency and security.
- Act as a trusted advisor for management and a mentor for technical teams.
Collaborate with:
- Enterprise Architecture team and other Solution Architects to craft future core cloud platform architecture and support improvements.
- Business collaborators to ensure the platform meets future requirements.
- Other Architects and technical teams to ensure the transition to the desired future state progresses as planned.

What we need to see from you
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in crafting, implementing, and securing core cloud solutions in Azure and AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud principles, including network, security, data protection, identity and access management, Site reliability and DevOps / DevSecOps principals, and Application modernization.
- Hands-on experience in infrastructure as a code tools like Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep, etc.
- Experience with Cloud Governance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to security risks.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions.
- English language skill on Business level (B2 - C2)
