Investment Management - Sales Professional – Vice President

We are looking for a Sales Professional to add to the Swiss sales team with focus on institutional clients. The successful candidate will support our Sales activity in providing client coverage for our Swiss existing clients, (pension funds, insurance companies, single family offices, foundations, consultants) and will develop the market coverage in order to enlarge the client base across the full spectrum of investment solutions including long only equities and fixed income, hedge-funds and private assets like infrastructure equity, private credit, private equity and real estate. The sales executive will have established relationships across seniority levels at key institutions and the ability to build relationships further.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Cover existing and prospective institutional clients to share Morgan Stanley thought leadership, build deep client relationships that extend beyond individual mandates, unearth client needs early and engage to give clients access to Morgan Stanley expertise and services
- Plan, prepare and execute road-shows to show-case Morgan Stanley strategies to prospective clients, as well as servicing and developing further existing client relationships by preparing and attending client meetings
- Successfully sell MSIM’s asset management capabilities to institutional clients
- Leverage relationships and resources across the firm including the bank, liquidity sales, and product expert teams to bring the best of Morgan Stanley to existing and prospective clients
- To deal internally with Legal, Operations, Marketing Department, other Sales Teams and Portfolio Managers in order to build the franchise of our Division to the market place.
Required skills:
- University Degree in capital markets, finance or economics. Additional degrees and certificates advantageous, e.g. CFA, CAIA, AZEK, etc.
- A strong, demonstrable track record in Sales with institutional clients
- Good knowledge of the asset management industry and the various forms of the main investment products across all asset classes incl. liquid and illiquid alternatives
- The candidate must have worked with a range of clients in Switzerland, and be able to establish and consolidate relationships
- ·Strong team spirit and pronounced focus on client needs
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in German and English. Knowledge of French is advantageous, but not required.
