Sustainable companies and goals have a significant impact not just on our clients and investors, but are a powerful draw for job seekers. Chris Kimm, Senior Vice President for Americas IBX Operations at Equinix, understands how vital sustainability is to a company’s future and the world. A large focus of Chris’ team centers around advancing a bold sustainability agenda to combat climate change and create sustainable data center ecosystems.

Chris Kimm is Senior Vice President for Americas IBX Operations at Equinix. In his role, Kimm leads more than 1700 Equinix staff in 104 Americas data centers in 29 metropolitan areas of Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the United States. Kimm’s team is responsible for all data center operations in the region, managing physical security, critical facilities engineering, customer implementation and ongoing support services, capacity planning, and site infrastructure-related project management. A key focus for the team is Environmental Sustainability.
In February 2023 Chris will move to a new position at Equinix as SVP for Global Customer Care and Experience. Chris lives and works in the Washington DC area at Equinix’s Ashburn, Virginia campus.
