Meet The Speaker
As a military spouse who has had a chance to live and work in many diverse settings including CT, NY, NJ, PA, TX, UT, SC, Australia, Costa Rica and Spain, I am grateful that my family is now settled in sunny Charleston, SC. I hold a master's degree in counseling from New York University, am a certified workforce development professional, and have 20+ years of work experience in career counseling, recruiting, job & interview coaching, research and business development. My husband and I are also happy parents of two kind-natured teens. I have managed to build my educational and career path while juggling my family needs and I am very proud of this feat!
My hobbies are playing beach volleyball with my family, swimming in the surf, dancing with my Zumba friends, getting better at Spanish and cuddling with my sweet, blind one-eyed dog, Cooper. My career is also my main interest/hobby and I have helped military spouses and clients all over the globe connect to portable jobs where they can career advance while working remotely from anywhere that life takes them. I would love to stay connected to this mission and serve more women in this way.
I hope to settle into a long term career niche preferably with a remote position. I am extremely gifted at helping others, particularly with their career matching needs. I welcome the chance to connect. I am living proof that a work-life balance can exist and I wish to spread this to women all across the globe!
