{F Part 1: Scope of Role What you'll do}
What you'll do in the role:
- You will have full people management responsibility for the recruitment, training, retention, performance, and adherence to relevant policies of the GSG staff.
- CSI's due diligence reports inform BUs as to potential non-market risks associated a potential client, transaction, or vendor and you will play a critical risk and process guardianship role.
- You will collaborate with the global CSI Due Diligence teams, actively develop strategies to drive efficiencies by extending the GSG's support for new processes/products within the global program, and effectively communicate these opportunities to global CSI management.
- You will maintain an effective team structure within the GSG, compiling and analyzing work volume metrics to ensure optimal utilization of the team's bandwidth, and identifying trends that may warrant adjustments to the team's resources.
- You will review relevant internal policies governing the CSI Due Diligence Program on a regular basis and recommend updates to global CSI management if necessary. Develop and manage GSG specific policies and procedures that comply with global policies and allow the team to meet the requirements of stakeholders such as BCU, LCD, etc.
- You will enforce compliance to relevant processes and policies within the GSG, including overseeing a sufficiently rigorous QA review process that ensures accuracy and completeness in the team's reports. You will handle material non-public information (MNPI) and personally identifiable information (PII) in accordance with Firm requirements and relevant regulations.
- You will maintain awareness of changes in the regulatory landscape and technology space as relevant to due diligence.
- You will be the primary escalation point for the GSG, with overall responsibility for the team's adherence to agreed SLAs and research process requirements.{F Part 2: Scope of Role What you'll bring}
What you'll bring to the role:
- An SME on global due diligence research practices and the underlying processes.
- Extensive experience relating to enhanced due diligence, KYC, or related fields, with the ability to breakdown and redesign processes to drive efficiencies.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to AML, sanctions, and anti-corruption in the financial industry.
- Experience in building large teams, developing scalable processes and training programs, and acting as a role model for best practices and leadership behaviors.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Excellent people and communication skills in a culturally diverse environment.
- Experience running meetings and speaking to large groups.
- Mastery of numerous public record databases, internet sites and information resources for use during due diligence research.
- Exceptional business writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Effective knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis.
