Today’s business environment is complex, global and multicultural with many interdependencies between the teams - especially in today's work-from-home environment. While it may feel that teams who sit across the globe don't have many common objectives, I've spent my career building effective global teams that communicate well and have achieved ambitious software delivery goals. What's my secret to success? Building trust and growing the teams to work collaboratively with each other and across the organization. Join me and learn how you, too can build a strong, collaborative global team!
In this chat we will discuss:
- How to build effective communication paths for distributed teams, or teams that operate in a global organization
- How to be effective at coaching team members with wide range of experience and competencies, while keeping cultural differences in mind
- How to focus on achieving the common goals, rather than differences of opinions
