To ring in the December holiday season, Google runs a series of Doodles celebrating the many holidays happening globally, including New Year’s Eve.

Every year, Google has a variety of festivities to help you celebrate your favorite year-end holidays, whether you’re celebrants of Christmas, a household for Hanukkah, fine with Festivus, and every tradition in between. In addition, Visa employees globally are given 16 hours of volunteer time off per calendar year to give back to eligible non-profit organizations. We have people from over 65 nations - all with different cultures, values, and celebrations. Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) such as Black, Asians and Latinx @ Celonis, help us embrace the rich cultures of our international team. In-person and virtual events are organised for Celonauts to celebrate a wide range of global holidays from Diwali to Pride Month. We bring the holidays to our offices with cultural lunches and light-hearted entertainment to help Celonauts enjoy the celebrations as a team. Dassault Systèmes

At Dassault Systèmes, we believe in recognizing all of our employees and their respective holidays. At Freddie Mac, the company’s Cultural Calendar helps employees learn more about cultural holidays year-round. Divisions and teams use the calendar to host celebrations for holidays throughout the year.

Every November, employees experience various cultures through dance, song and fashion sponsored by the InspirASIAN business resource group (BRG) at an annual Cultural Celebration. This year, the BRG co-hosted the celebration with the ARISE and HOLA BRGs for as a display of intersectionality. Our All-Employee Town Hall Holiday Celebration brings everyone together in December. The event represents the rich tapestry of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives that make up Freddie Mac. Toward the end of the year, we’ll be hosting fun events at our offices around the world to reflect on and celebrate our accomplishments. After that, our offices will be closed from December 25 to January 2 to give Autodeskers time to disconnect and recharge, so we can come back fully rested and ready to show up as our best selves in 2024! Our teams at Co-op Solutions do a lot throughout the year to get ready for holidays and celebrations. Some are virtual, others are in the offices, and we share important dates and personal stories. PagerDuty

PagerDuty embraces the diversity of its workforce by celebrating global holidays year-round. This practice fosters a sense of inclusivity, recognizing and respecting the cultural diversity within PagerDuty. In addition to offering paid time off for holidays, our teams observe regional holidays with in-person events. For example, PagerDuty Chile celebrated Independence Day on September 18, with a fun festivities at our Santiago office. Dutonians enjoyed traditional Chilean food like “Pino empanadas” and “anticuchos” along with the iconic Chilean drink “Terremoto”. The celebration also featured professional Cueca dancers! Beyond global holidays, PagerDuty recognizes its own tradition: HibernationDuty, a unique initiative ensuring employees take a collective break.
