A Look at Our Special Night with Tech Leaders at Goldman Sachs

While PowerToFly has supported Goldman Sachs' diversity and inclusion efforts for the past several years, we were excited that this December, we hosted our first live event together at Goldman Sachs' office in NYC's Financial District.

Goldman Sachs believes who you are makes you better at what you do, which is one of the reasons why PowerToFly loves working with them. For Goldman Sachs, it's all about bringing together people who are curious, collaborative, and have the drive to make things possible for their clients and communities.

This special one-night-only gathering was hosted by PowerToFly CEO Milena Berry and kicked off with ample networking time over passed hors d'oeuvres. The programming officially got underway with inspiring opening remarks by Goldman Sachs' Sinead Strain, Managing Director.

Next up, members of the Goldman Sachs team presented a behind-the-scenes look at one of their cutting edge products, Marquee, which provides institutional investors with leading market intelligence, risk analytics, proprietary datasets, and trade execution across multiple asset classes.

When the product demo concluded, we launched into a wide reaching panel discussion with three of Goldman Sachs' women leaders and one terrific male ally. Our speakers included:

  • Ramanathan Narayanan - Managing Director, HCM Technology
  • Stephanie Chang - Vice President, Eqs Cash Algo Strats
  • Christine Whalen - Associate, Secdb Architecture
  • Kome Emuh - Vice President, Sec Div Eng Mgmt & Strategy
Once the panel discussion concluded, we had enough time to take a few questions from the audience before jumping back into networking for the remainder of the night.

Here's what one attendee had to say about her experience: "I now have a different, more positive impression of the culture at Goldman Sachs."
